Growing up on a grain farm in outback Queensland holds many wonderful memories that I see creeping into my paintings. Whether my father was cultivating the ground, or harvesting, we would take morning and afternoon tea to him. Due to the long hot summers, it was just natural to find a tree for shade, and a stump or log to sit on, and enjoy a cup of tea and biscuit or piece of cake, with him.
