Metal | 40 x 40 x 50 cm
Assorted rusted ferrous metal gardening hand tools and one resin plastic skull arranged in a tipi-styled pile.
(The alternate name for the piece is "The Mercantile Perspective of the God of War: Ploughshares to Swords.")
The wall panel wording I suggest is:
"As the God of War trumpets His desires (in ancient Sanskrit, the word 'War' translates as 'Desire for more cows'), across the World, we who are left to grow weary and old - and who at least want to die rich - are well advised to sell-up our Fruits of Peace and have our Ploughshares and the like refashioned into weapons.
Here is my contribution to the cause.
